LOVE the name of your blog!!!Welcome aboard, Christine - so happy to have you with us for Sensational Haiku Wednesdays. We have a great circle happening, and there is always room for more.New beginnings are oft scary - belongings are easy to replace (and sometimes shedding them is freeing!) but "belonging" can be harder to achieve. You definitely belong with us! Well done :)
Thanks, Jenn! So good to hear from you! I found out about your blog from BlogginwithAmanda.com; she's a wonderful poet and blogger! :-)

your haiku can be anticipating, hoping, or scary. All of which my daughter recently felt going off to school.
Christine you're a doll, thanks for the mention! Liquidate my life! Great first line, it sounds ominous without sounding depressing, I really liked this Haiku!

Thank you everybody for your wonderful comments. It just made my morning. And yes, Ria, this poem was inspired in part by my going far away to school. :-) I realized on the plane that I had no keys: no keys to anything at all! Roger, thanks for the awesome haiku! They are addictive and fun to me; maybe you will find the same. :-)
